Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reunited with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at the U.S. Open final on Sunday night – days after the superstar singer appeared to snub Brittany.

The NFL duo and their partners were pictured in a VIP suite at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sunday night, and Swift was pictured hugging Brittany – seemingly ending rumors of a feud between them. The Kansas City Chiefs began their NFL campaign on Thursday night with a close win over the Baltimore Ravens, and it was notable that Brittany appeared to be sat away from Swift – breaking from their weekly tradition from last season.

The pair seemed inseparable during the 2023 NFL season, and were frequently seen attending games – including the Super Bowl – together. But reports of a rift first began after the wife of the megastar quarterback appeared to show support for Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump on social media. The rumor mill went into overdrive when, on Thursday night, the pair were sat apart.

Now, however, it seems both are attempting to show the world there’s no rift between them, as they were seen laughing and joking together watching Taylor Fritz take on Jannik Sinner in New York. Kelce, wearing a $590 Gucci hat with a matching tracksuit, was seen sharing a laugh with his team-mate as their partners chatted.

While there was uncertainty over their partners’ relationship, Kelce and Mahomes picked up where they left off from last season in Thursday’s opener. The Chiefs, going for a third straight Super Bowl to cement their dynasty as one of the best teams of all time, were perhaps fortunate to beat the Ravens after a last-second touchdown from Baltimore was chalked off after a video review.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson connected with Isiah Likely in the Chiefs endzone, and it appeared the wide receiver had made the catch within the end zone, only for a video review to determine the tips of his toes had made contact with the white out of bounds paint.

With the touchdown ruled out, the Chiefs held onto their narrow 27-20 win, to give their season the perfect start in front of their home crowd. The reigning Super Bowl champions will now take on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday in another difficult test.

Despite having the prospect of the Bengals ahead of them, Mahomes and Kelce seemed to be enjoying their down time and making the most of their off-day. Rather than watch the first NFL Sunday of the season, the pair decided to head to New York to take in the action.

Kelce and Swift had been in New York for a few days prior, having flown to the Big Apple after Thursday’s game. They were spotted in an Italian restaurant on Friday night, brushing off the speculation of the ‘leaked contract’, which appeared on social media last week alleging their relationship was set to end.
