Mike Tyson Busts Trainer’s Lip With Ferocious Combination As He Prepares For Jake Paul Fight

Mike Tyson is deep into preparations for his showdown with Jake Paul.

The controversial fight takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday 15 November, in what will be the first live boxing event broadcast on Netflix.

It will also be the first time that Tyson has boxed professionally since 2005, when he retired from the sport following a defeat to Kevin McBride.

As for Paul, the Youtuber-turned-boxer has put together a professional record of 10-1 since his debut in 2020, with 7 victories coming by knockout.

He has defeated former UFC fighters such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Mike Perry, and at 27-years-old, is over 30 years younger than his upcoming opponent.

Some of boxing’s biggest figures have expressed concern over the bout going ahead, especially after the contest was postponed from its original July date due to Tyson suffering an ulcer flare up.

‘Iron Mike’ has been keen to prove the doubters wrong though, and if recent training footage is anything to go by, it looks like he still carries some of his knockout power.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tyson can be seen accidentally busting his trainer’s lip after landing a powerful combination, with Paul hoping it won’t be the case in their fight.

Tyson had an incredible 44 knockouts from his 50 wins as a professional, with his path of destruction earning him the nickname ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet.’
