🚨 Ben Shalom reveals injuries that Ben Whittaker suffered in ‘unprecedented incident’ that ended his fight with Liam Cameron
Ben Whittaker’s fight with Liam Cameron ended in bizarre fashion when both men tumbled over the ropes and out of the ring.
Whittaker could not continue and was fortunate to escape with a draw in a fight that he looked like he was fading badly in.
Fans have been pretty sceptical on the injuries that he has suffered and believed he was looking for a way out.
But, his promoter Ben Shalom told Sky Sports that he suffered two injuries in the fall, he said: “Following the unprecedented incident that ended the match on Saturday night, Ben Whittaker is undergoing further assessments on his neck as a previous injury was aggravated by the fall.
“He also experienced an ankle sprain and will begin a rehab process as soon as he is cleared by doctors and is determined to be back in the ring as soon as possible.”
