Several celebrities allegedly linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sеx crimes have reportedly reached settlements with victims to avoid being named in legal cases. Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents 120 of Diddy’s alleged victims, told TMZ on Monday that he has sent demand letters to numerous A-list stars, even those with minor knowledge of the music mogul’s alleged misconduct, in an effort to “resolve matters” behind closed doors.
During an Oct. 1 press conference, Buzbee reiterated his stance, stating, “If you attended any of these parties or were aware of what would happen — such as a particular drᴜg being used in drinks to coеrce and exploit people — and you were present, participated, observed without intervening, or helped cover it up, I believe you’re also implicated.”
Texas attorney Tony Buzbee asserted that “many people” were aware of or participated in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged parties but chose to stay silent. He emphasized that these individuals should be held accountable, and he intends to ensure that happens.
“All of these people are at risk,” Buzbee hinted, adding that the timing and naming of those involved will be revealed in due time.
He also noted that some celebrities can only maintain their anonymity by settling with the alleged victims. Buzbee explained, “In every case, particularly ones like this, we gather our evidence, thoroughly investigate, speak with the victim, and, in the victim’s best interest, try to resolve the matter privately without a public lawsuit, which we’ve already done in some cases.”
Buzbee revealed that they’ve already reached settlements with several high-profile individuals and will continue to do so. However, if those who received demand letters refuse to settle, their identities will be revealed through public lawsuits.
This news comes nearly a month after Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City, facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, sеx trafficking by force, fraud, or coеrcion, and transporting individuals for prоstitution.
The 54-year-old “I’ll Be Missing You” singer has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody after being denied bail. Following these charges, Diddy’s past comments about his wild parties and urging celebrities to stay quiet about what happens at them have fueled further suspicion.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ downfall started in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of rapе, sеx trafficking, and physical abuse during their 10-year relationship. Although Combs quickly settled the lawsuit and denied any wrongdoing, a video from 2016 showing him violеntly аssaulting the Ventura in a hotel surfaced online in May, leading him to issue a public apology.
