This Morning have found themselves snubbed from the BAFTA TV nominations this year, but their fellow ITV daytime shows Loose Women and Lorraine have received nods

This Morning have been snubbed at the BAFTA TV Awards, but their rivals Loose Women and Lorraine have been nominated.

The daytime show – which has recently been taken over by Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley – failed to receive a nomination in the Best Daytime category, but Lorraine – fronted by Lorraine Kelly – and Loose Women and Men received a nomination in the same category alongside two BBC shows, Make It At Market and Scam Interceptors.

Elsewhere, Married At First Sight found itself up alongside new reality show My Mum, Your Dad in the Reality category alongside Channel 4 show Banged Up and Netflix hit Squid Game: The Challenge.

Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly are up in the Entertainment Performance category for their hosting of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! alongside Big Zuu for Big Zuu’s Big Eats, Graham Norton for The Graham Norton Show, Hannah Waddingham for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Joe Lycett for Late Night Lycett and Rob Beckett & Romesh Ranganathan for Rob & Romesh Vs.

In the soap category, Coronation Street is nowhere to be seen but EastEnders and Emmerdale will go up against Casualty. In the drama category, The Gold will go alongside Slow Horses, Top Boy and Happy Valley, which is also up in several other categories including Leading Actress for Sarah Lancashire, Supporting Actress for Siobhan Finneran and Supporting Actor for Amit Shah as well as Catherine and Tommy’s final kitchen showdown for Memorable Moment and Drama Writer for Sally Wainwright.

There was no nominations for Tommy Lee Royce star James Norton and the likes of Big Brother and Love Island also missed out on a nod in the Reality category. There was also surprisingly no nomination for The Traitors, in either the Reality category or in the Memorable Moment segment, with plenty of moments throughout the latest series sticking out in fans’ minds.
