Whether you’re down a rabbit hole on TikTok or just trying to watch your regular Sunday Night Football, chances are you’ve heard about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship.

After a source revealed exclusively to PEOPLE that the pair were giving romance “a real try” despite both of their schedules being “actually insane,” the stars opened up in separate interviews in late 2023 about the nature of their relationship.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said in her December 2023 Time interview.

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other,” she continued.

Swift and Kelce have stepped out for a handful of particularly public dates; in mid-October, they had dinner at Nobu and the Waverly Inn in N.Y.C., and popped up at the season premiere of SNL with his-and-hers cameos, then headed to the afterparty. And she’s been spotted cheering him on at 12 Kansas City Chiefs games so far, often meeting him after the games to walk through the stadium hand-in-hand.

And now they have kissed on the biggest stage in the world: The Super Bowl, following the Chiefs’ dramatic win in overtime.

In their first real show of PDA, Taylor Swift was pictured planting a big smooch on Travis Kelce’s cheek after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 22. The photo was snapped as the two were hanging out with Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend Chariah Gordon after the game.

The Grammy winner and NFL star were later spotted holding hands as they left Arrowhead Stadium.

The new couple matched in Chiefs red, with the pop star showing her team spirit in a vintage 1990 USA Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt from Ellie Mae Vintage, while the Chiefs tight end wore a checked red shirt.

Celebrity barber Patrick Regan uploaded an Instagram post on Dec. 11 that included a photo of Swift closing her eyes as she gave Kelce a kiss on the cheek against a festive backdrop.

The photo showed the athlete smiling from ear to ear while he grabbed Swift’s arm. The image was seemingly snapped after Swift cheered Kelce on as the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri on Dec. 10.

On the night of Oct. 14, Swift and Kelce walked hand-in-hand into Nobu in Midtown Manhattan.

In a video clip from the restaurant that circulated on social media, Kelce could be seen keeping his hand raised as he guided Swift down a flight of stairs, before pointing a single finger in the air in celebration.

After the pair made it down the stairs successfully, Swift took a moment to greet people at the bottom.

Following dinner, the stars headed to SNL, with Kelce scoring a line in a sketch about the NFL’s interest in the couple’s relationship and Swift introducing the musical guest, her friend and collaborator Ice Spice.

“Taylor and Travis are both big Pete and Ice Spice fans, so they came last minute to show their support,” a source told PEOPLE. “It was a surprise to the audience and the staff, no one knew they were there.”

The next stop was the afterparty at Catch Steak, where “they were so talkative,” another source told PEOPLE. “They were really fun. They talked to every single person in the room that talked to them.”

“They were super cool. Super nice, super happy,” the insider added, noting that Swift and Kelce stayed at the party “until after 4 a.m.”

On Oct. 15, the pair grabbed a late-night dinner at the Waverly Inn in the West Village, after Kelce spent the day watching his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Jets in New Jersey.

“Taylor’s unlike anyone Travis has dated before,” a source told PEOPLE of the pair. “It was very unexpected for his friends, but he’s so into her and very, very happy.”

Fans on social media fixated on the pair’s body language throughout the weekend, with many highlighting Kelce’s gentlemanly move of opening Swift’s car door when they arrived at the SNL afterparty, taking over for her security guard.

After a dinner out in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Kelce was seen in the stadium dancing along to Swift’s music (and reacting with glee to a lyrics change that referenced him) — then waiting for the singer after the show, at which point he was greeted with a running hug and kiss.

On the heels her first public visit to Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023, the NFL captured a video of Swift leaving hand-in-hand with Kelce, captioning the moment: “Two [GOATS].”

As Swift would later reveal in her December 2023 Time interview, the pair first started hanging out not long after Kelce mentioned her on his New Heights podcast.

“So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift shared. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
