Taylor Swift had some famous faces at her first Eras Tour show in Sydney.
Along with boyfriend Travis Kelce showing his support for the pop superstar, 34, fellow singers Katy Perry and Rita Ora were also spotted in the crowd at Friday night’s show.
Perry, 39, later shared a series of snaps and clips from the concert on Instagram, including a smiling selfie with Swift backstage. “got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️,” the American Idol judge captioned the carousel.
The “Roar” singer’s post also featured videos of Swift performing her tracks “Bad Blood” and “You Belong With Me,” along with a photo with Ora, 33, in the VIP tent.
Ora also posted pictures from the show on Instagram and posed for a photo backstage with Swift, who was wearing a bedazzled bodysuit, with her husband Taika Waititi. During the concert, Ora also met Kelce, 34, and smiled for a photo with the Kansas City Chiefs star in the VIP tent.
“It’s fair to say Sydney always delivers – Or shall we say our TayTay @taylorswift always delivers! thank you for having us! Seeing my KP @katyperry made my heart to many queens to count!” Ora captioned the post.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), Ora and Perry could be seen chatting in the VIP tent as they stood next to filmmaker Waititi, 48, while Perry also appeared to accept what looked like a friendship bracelet from a fan. Swapping handmade beaded bracelets became Swifties’ new favorite pastime during the Eras Tour last summer.

The bracelets are inspired by the lyrics from Swift’s Midnights song, “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” specifically the line, “Make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it.”
Both Perry and Ora, who also showed off her impressive collection of friendship bracelets, dressed in all-black for the concert, with Ora wearing a black cap and strapless dress while Perry sported a cropped black waistcoat with thin white stripes and matching flared pants.
In November 2022, Ora and Waititi presented Swift with an MTV EMA award — one of four awards she won during the evening — while co-hosting the annual ceremony in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Meanwhile, Perry supporting Swift on her tour comes after the “Bon Appétit” singer opened up about why the pair decided to put aside their differences following a years-long complicated relationship that seemingly inspired Swift’s “Bad Blood,” and Perry’s track “Swish Swish.”
In a July 2020 interview on the Howard Stern Show, Perry explained that she and Swift wanted to publicly bury the hatchet and set “an example” for their younger fans.

“Gossip in life can take the elevator but the truth takes the stairs. It just takes time,” Perry said at the time, adding that their feud was exaggerated by the media and they are now “super friendly.”
“What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and got to be an example of redemption for young girls,” she continued. “I always wanted the best for her and now we can talk about the best we want for each other.”
The year before, the pair had reunited in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video, with Perry wearing a burger costume and Swift dressed as french fries.

Friday’s show was Swift’s first of four at the Accor Stadium, with the “Anti-Hero” singer set to perform until Feb. 26 in Australia before heading to Singapore for the next stop of her tour on March 2.
The show was hit by a delay due to adverse weather, with the Accor Stadium advising fans in a post on X to “stay undercover until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions.” “Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you,” the statement added.
According to Australian news outlet the Sydney Morning Herald, Swift addressed the weather as she took to the stage and told the 81,000-strong crowd, “An Aussie crowd will never let anything get in the way.”
