Rihanna shocked fans last week as she appeared to ignore former pal Naomi Campbell during an awkward New York Fashion Week encounter.
The songstress, 36, who has previously been a close friend of the supermodel, 54, was filmed arriving at the Alaïa runway show clad in a busty crystal gown – but all eyes turned to her frosty reception to Campbell.
As the Umbrella hitmaker went to find her front row seat, she enthusiastically greeted British Vogue editor Edward Enninful – who was next to a Campbell.
While Campbell smiled at Rihanna, the singer walked straight past her without a second glance – leading fans to erupt on social media.
One fan wrote: ‘Her totally ignoring Naomi is giving me LIFE’ while a second typed: ‘Not Rihanna ignoring Naomi and Law Roach like that …… oop.’

Others wrote: ‘Rihanna said God forgives but I don’t lmao’, ‘I think she only meant to ignore Naomi and Law being next to Naomi caught a stray; I wonder what their beef is, lol.’
‘I love the energy cause she don’t care and act like they’re just wind.’
This isn’t the first time the pair have locked horns. In 2014 at the British Fashion Awards Naomi was filmed clutching onto Rihanna and uttering something to her – before the popstar glared coldly back at her.
Naomi then appeared to say sorry and hung her head – with baffled fans believing Naomi had asked Rihanna ‘are you high?’ and the clip going viral.
Rihanna and Naomi have been pictured together numerous times over the years – with the catwalker planting a kiss on the Fenty icon’s Fenty Puma runway show during New York Fashion Week in 2016.
But in 2017 it was claimed Rihanna‘s romance with Naomi’s ex Hassan Jameel is what caused the pair’s alleged feud.
The Sun reported that the supermodel, who is thought to have dated the Saudi businessman in 2016, is disgruntled the singer and Hassan have fallen so hard – as she hates feeling ‘second best’.

The glamorous pair, who used to be close friends, sparked rumors of a feud when they unfollowed each other on social media – and it had been claimed the Toyota dealership heir is the reason behind their anger.
Naomi now follows Rihanna again but the singer has not returned the favor.
According to the paper, Naomi was not impressed Hassan has chosen the singer over her – while Rihanna has fallen so hard for him, she is not willing to back down.
A source revealed: ‘They’re both formidable women. No one knows exactly what went on between Naomi and Hassan but she certainly doesn’t like being second best.’
Adding that the Work singer was in too deep to stop the romance, they continued: ‘Rihanna is someone that falls hard for someone, and nothing can get in the way.’
Naomi’s romance with Hassan never confirmed, but the pair were pictured looking cozy in July last year, when they attended the British Summer Time Festival together in London.

Only adding fuel to the fire, the Croydon-born star did nothing to quash rumors when asked about their so-called tensions on Watch What Happens Live in March.
A viewer asked host Andy Cohen on the show about the pair: ‘No social media pics or communication either, is everything okay between the two of them?’
To which the supermodel replied coolly, without batting an eyelid: ‘Everything’s fine.’
When neither Andy nor the audience seemed convinced, she broke the silence with: ‘Of course it’s fine,’ adding with a wink, ‘I’m an actress now Andy’.
