Reports have surfaced that scouts from both the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees have been dispatched to Chicago to observe Bellinger, signaling serious interest from these clubs. The Rangers and Yankees, both of whom showed interest in Bellinger last season, are seemingly stepping up their pursuit.
The Yankees, despite their successful outfield configuration, could greatly benefit from Bellinger’s prowess, especially considering Anthony Rizzo’s current injury situation. Bringing Bellinger in to cover first base seems like a logical move that could enhance the Yankees’ infield strength significantly.
