Travis Kelce blushes when asked to complete a Taylor Swift lyric (via X)

Travis Kelce just wants to play Super Bowl LVIII already. With a chance to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots 20 years ago, his Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11. Kelce has made it very clear that winning that game is all that matters to him.

However, one of his biggest problems right now is that he is dating the global superstar, Taylor Swift and the reporters’ mouths are salivating. In Las Vegas during Super Bowl week, Kelce has fielded more questions about Taylor Swift—including those regarding her recently released album, The Tortured Poets Department—than about football.

During the Chiefs’ recent press conference, a reporter asked Kelce to complete the lyrics of Swift’s song, Karma. The reporter wondered:

I was wondering if you could help me complete this lyric here: ‘Karma is the guy on the…’
The reporter quipped
The All-Pro tight end played along and said:

Travis Kelce replied
The reporter then took a chance and almost certainly immediately regretted it. “Finish it,” she exclaimed. “Coming clean… “ With a bewildered, uncomfortable, but courteous grin, Kelce peered around as the reporter finished her own line, “Home to me.” Grinning, Kelce asked:

“Karma is the guy on the ________?” 😅 pic.twitter.com/JIw8SXoL9I

Kelce and company are looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions this season. They have been fantastic in the playoffs but will have to bring their best against a great 49ers side on Sunday.

I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come. Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money.

On Sunday, all eyes—and cameras—will be on those suites to see who is seated with whom and whether a certain pop star will be supporting her Chiefs beau following her show in Tokyo.

Boomer Esiason proposed a wild theory this week amid the increased talk about the suites, speculating that Taylor Swift might ask the league to cover the cost of her suite and airfare to Las Vegas so she can attend the game. The 2024 Super Bowl will begin on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET.
