VIDEO: Andy Reid First Pitch At KC Royals Home Opener Is A Sight To See
Andy Reid was out there showing Travis Kelce how it’s done with an impressive first pitch for the Kansas City Royals this Thursday.
While the Kansas City Chiefs head coach could do no wrong in Missouri right now, he wasn’t leaving anything to chance and made an impressive throw for a man his age.

The Royals finished last season with a 56-106 record and will hope to add several more wins to that this year, having missed out on playoff baseball since they won the World Series in 2015. They beat the New York Mets in five games to get their hands on the silverware but have gone eight years without a postseason appearance.
They will play two more games vs. Minnesota before going on the road, where they will face the Orioles in Baltimore.
Andy Reid Shades Travis Kelce With His Pitch
Reid also managed to put his star tight end in the shade with this throw. You might remember Kelce embarrassing himself with the first pitch at a Cleveland Guardians game last April, though he has since redeemed himself with one at a Royals game in June.
The coach and player had a bit of a run-in during the Super Bowl last month as a fired-up Kelce purposely bumped into Reid and screamed into his ear, supposedly angry at being left out of the offense during a key moment.
“I didn’t see him coming or I would have forearm ripped him,” Reid joked with Colin Cowherd earlier this month. “You know, he got me.”
