Tyler Glasnow is one of the Dodgers ‘ top pitchers and is one of Shohei Ohtani‘s personal friends, and today with the Ippei Mizuhara case in all the spotlight, the pitcher revealed to MLB that everyone on the team knew the performer was involved in ‘shady stuff’.

The accusation against Mizuhara

Ippei Mizuhara, Shohei Ohtani’s interpreter, is accused of stealing more than $16 million and passing that amount to a bookmaker in California, causing the Japanese Dodgers pitcher to be accused of gambling, something highly punishable by MLB.

Now that it is clear that Ohtani had nothing to do with it, and that Mizuhara is the real one accused of theft and gambling while being part of a Major League organization, it was his Dodgers teammate, Tyler Glasnow, who spoke about the Japanese case.

Fortunately for Ohtani, his responsibility was clarified and all charges are against Mizuhara, and the interpreter has already turned himself in to the U.S. authorities and is awaiting trial, while the pitcher lives a very encouraging present in the Dodgers and today has four home runs and four hits.

Fortunately for the Japanese baseball player, things have been cleared up and even his extraditor has already turned himself in to the authorities. Meanwhile, his teammates always trusted in his innocence and even supported him as Tyler Glasnow pointed out. In the end, this is an issue that is forgotten and the Dodgers have to focus on their performance in the 2024 MLB season.
