When they began their relationship, McDevitt posted a photo of her and Jason on Instagram with the caption, ”Thank goodness you swiped right too.” After swiping right, the duo later met in person at Buffalo Billiards neighborhood pool hall and connected immediately.

Meeting her NFL star husband changed Kylie McDevitt’s life.
During their wedding, McDevitt said that on their first date, she was mesmerized by her husband’s beard. She added that their second date was in a crowded bar, where they stood for three hours having deep conversations.

Who Was Kylie McDevitt before Meeting Jason Kelce?
Although McDevitt came into the public spotlight because of her husband, she had already made a name for herself before meeting Kelce. While still in college, she was a multi-awarded student-athlete playing field hockey.

Jason Kelce’s wife had a big passion for field hockey, so she transferred from Montgomery County Community College to Cabrini University. There she majored in Communications and dreamed of becoming a sports broadcaster because of her love for sports.

McDevitt enjoyed her time at Cabrini University, and she knew the institution would open many opportunities for her in the future. In an Interview, McDevitt stated that she fell in love with the campus:

“It’s the perfect school; I couldn’t ask for a better field hockey team.”

McDevitt said she loved playing hockey and that her most significant accomplishments in the sport originated when she joined Cabrini’s hockey team. Although she’s participated in three outdoor and five indoor competitions, she is proud of achieving the title ”Rookie of the Year.”

McDevitt liked her hockey team and spoke highly of her head coach, Jackie Neary. Besides her extra-curriculum activities, she was good in her academics, and she knew that getting good grades goes hand in hand with good performance on the field.

When she was not playing, McDevitt enjoyed hanging out with her friends or watching a captivating movie on Netflix. After studying for seven years, she finally graduated from college. At the time, she had met Kelce, who also attended her graduation alongside her family.

Kylie McDevitt Now Focuses on Being a Mom and a Wife
Meeting her NFL star husband changed Kylie McDevitt’s life. Although she couldn’t fulfill her dream of becoming a sportscaster, she is a happy mom to her daughters.

In 2019, McDevitt and her husband welcomed their first child and named her Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce. Her husband shared a photo of her and the newborn baby on his Instagram. Two years later, she gave birth to her second daughter Elliotte Ray Kelce.

The former hockey player enjoys motherhood and occasionally posts photos of her kids. In one of her posts, McDevitt captured a moment where she spent quality time with her kids on the beach. In another post, she and her kids visited Kelce during practice.

The mom of two announced that their family is expanding as she’s expecting baby number 3 in February 2023. She revealed her baby bump in an adorable Halloween costume.

Besides being a mom and a wife, McDevitt also has her philanthropic hat on as she helps her husband’s non-profit organization raise autism awareness.
