Meanwhile, outfielder Trent Grisham’s early promise has been overshadowed by a significant drop in engagement and performance. Even Boone’s decisions have paradoxically rewarded Grisham’s underwhelming performances with higher batting order placements, a move that baffles many and calls Boone’s judgment into question.
