Kansas City Chiefs’ Star Chris Jones Shares Message To L’Jarius Sneed After Huge Trade

The Kansas City Chiefs are all in on going for their third straight Super Bowl.

Unfortunately for them, they will not have their elite corner back L’Jarius Sneed as he was officially traded to the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.

His fellow defensive super star, Chris Jones, had two words for him as Sneed embarks on a new journey without the Chiefs.

While we have seen many players go at their former teammates during this free agency period, Chris Jones is only wishing great things for his long time teammate L’Jarius Sneed. The pair have won two Super Bowl together, and they are the two most important players for the Chiefs on the defensive side of the ball.

While many Chiefs players resigned to go for their threepeat, Sneed will be playing against them in 2024. Jones took to social media to wish Sneed well sharing just two words:
“Blessing brotha,” Jones tweeted.
Sneed was one of their most important players throughout the post season and was a major factor in their Super Bowl win. Replacing a top corner in the NFL like Sneed will be tough but there are still some options for the Chiefs.

The Titans have been very busy in the free agency period, with their new head coach for 2024. The team brought in Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard for their offense, and now they made their biggest move bringing in L’Jarius Sneed. Sneed will join a strong defense that features linebackers Arden Key and Kenneth Murray, and will pair Sneed with star corner Chidobe Awuzie.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, while this a blow to their defensive secondary, they have many young talented corners and should be fine. It is tough to lose a player like Sneed but that will not impact their ability to go for a third straight Super Bowl.
