Initially, Braves broadcaster Brandon Gaudin assumed the ball hit Snitker in the stomach. However, upon reviewing the replay, it became clear the ball had struck Snitker in a more sensitive area.

Despite the painful moment, Snitker managed to handle the situation with a laugh, showing minor signs of discomfort as play resumed. Albies glanced back at his manager, seemingly amused by the misdirected hit, prompting commentator C.J. Nitkowski to jest that Albies might have thought he didn’t hit it hard enough.
