Perry recently uploaded a photo with the singer on her Instagram when she attended the concert in Sydney, where she was beginning her tour in Australia. The singer was also reportedly joined by singer Rita Ora and was given some of the best seats in the venue.

Perry captioned the post with, ‘, which sent fans of the singers into a frenzy. The duo was previously known for their long feud, which ran from 2014 to 2019. The feud reportedly began when Taylor Swift hinted at the song being about Katy Perry in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Swift mentioned in the interview that she felt insulted and confused by her relationship with Katy Perry and that she never knew what they shared. She said that the feud was about something related to the business and not about a guy. Taylor Swift said,

While Taylor Swift spoke about her side of the story in her Rolling Stone interview, Katy Perry decided to clarify her point of view and the history of the feud in an interview with James Corden in 2017. The singer went on the Carpool Karaoke segment of and mentioned the misunderstandings between the two pop stars.

Perry said that the three backing dancers who were supposed to go on tour with Taylor Swift were originally part of her crew but had asked her if they could go as she was not on a record cycle. Perry said that she agreed to it but asked them to come back when she does decide to go back on tour. According to Perry, when she asked the dancers to come back, they were fired by Swift’s management.

Katy Perry then went on to say that she was done with the feud and she wanted it to be over. She said,
