Diddy is not having a great week.

Homeland Security agents raided the Bad Boy Records owner’s homes on Monday amid a sex trafficking investigation stemming from New York.

Meanwhile, Brendan Paul, a former Syracuse basketball player has been arrested by federal agents and stands accused of being a “drug mule” for the rapper.

According to the New York Times, Paul was arrested at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport while trying to board a private jet with the hip-hop mogul.

Agents attached to Homeland Security and Border Patrol are said to have found drugs believed to be cocaine and cannabis edibles in Paul’s bag. He was booked on two felony counts of possession of suspected cocaine and possession of suspected marijuana candy after the airplane was searched. The drugs aren’t thought to be connected to Diddy.

Paul played as a walk-on for the Orange for two seasons before transferring to Fairmont State in Division II in 2020. He made 16 appearances for Syracuse over the two seasons, playing 17 total minutes in which he recorded three points and one rebound.

Brendan Paul Was Named In A Lawsuit Against Diddy

Paul was named in a lawsuit against Diddy filed by Rodney Jones, which states the former player was a close friend of the rapper who “acquires and distributes Mr. Combs guns and drugs.”

Diddy has denied all of the claims in the suit and, as mentioned above, the drugs Paul was arrested with haven’t been linked to him.

Paul has since been released on a $2,500 bond.

The Bad Boys rapper has been in the news a lot lately as he’s been accused of being a sexual predator and an industry gatekeeper who solicits various intimate favors in exchange for progression in the game.

He only just settled a lawsuit brought forward by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, who alleged she was the victim of sexual abuse.

The 54-year-old has been sued by various others since.
