Rodríguez’s Transition from Rangers to Blue Jays Marks a New Chapter
The Texas Rangers designated Rodríguez for assignment earlier in the week, closing the chapter on his nine-year affiliation with the team. Rodríguez, 26, ventured into the major leagues with the Rangers in 2022, marking the start of a challenging stint.
Over the last three seasons, his performance has been less than stellar, evident from a troubling 7.11 ERA accumulated over slightly more than 30 innings pitched with the team.
