She’ll be lightin’ up with this in no time. Lighting candles, obviously.

yone starts their work days with a carriage ride through their big and beautiful estate. But if your name is Martha Stewart, you just might. At least, that’s what the mogul was up to the day I talked with her about the latest project she’s got up her perm pressed sleeve. She’s at it again, working on a new collab with her business partner and real life bestie, Snoop Dogg.

The dynamic duo became fast friends years ago and they aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Their latest endeavor? A phone case with a functional lighter holder built into it. It’s called the “Hold The Phone” case.

“It’s such a fun company to work with because they’re pretty open to new ideas. Like this phone case, it’s so cute!” she told me. “We’re both very practical. Snoop needs a lighter a lot more during the day than I need it. I need it more at night when I’m lighting candles or cooking at the stove,” she said.

While she and Snoop have their differences, they’re also a lot alike. Stewart even shared some details about their time together in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

“Snoop just sold the show!” she laughed. “He works so hard. We were staying at the same hotel and he had one whole room of just wardrobe, and another room for his cook who fried him chicken every day.”

His own personal chef for fried chicken? I’m lucky if I can bring all my skincare on a trip.

“He’s so much fun, hanging out with him is so much fun,” Stewart added.

“We made silver and gold, which fits right into my decor. These are decorative lighters, you can leave them lying on the table and no one will think they’re ugly. I can light my fireplace, my candles, the fire pits outside…” she explained.

Leave it to Martha to make our everyday lighters more beautiful. But if you think she’s only working on one thing at a time, silly you.

Martha Stewart is also releasing her 100th book this fall. No big deal.

This November, the craft and cookbook connoisseur is releasing her 100th book, Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen. Though it doesn’t come out until November 12, you can go ahead and pre-order it (I already have).

“This 100th book is 100 of my favorite recipes with archival photographs, and essays by me. You’re going to love the recipes, they’re all great,” said Stewart.

More than just a cookbook, it’s almost like a scrapbook of Stewart’s life from the view of her kitchen, a place where so much more than just cooking goes on. Learn about a favorite recipe passed down from her mother, or her go-to dish that welcomes guests on a warm afternoon. Not only are they Martha’s favorite recipes, they’re glimpses into her life and real lessons explained by the woman who wrote them.

While I can’t even fathom knowing 100 recipes, Martha said it was incredibly hard to narrow them all down for the book. However, there are a few favorites she has when it comes to dining during the fall season.

“There’s an apple tart that is so delicious and easy to make and a roast turkey recipe for Thanksgiving that is the best turkey recipe.”

I can only imagine what it’s like to taste a Thanksgiving dinner made by Martha!

While we wait with bated breath for the new cookbook, you can at least join in on the fun and get a Hold The Phone case or shop more of Martha’s approved favorites down below.
