It’s official: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are new parents!

Before The Voice fans go and sound the alarms, you should know that the country singer and pop artist welcomed a furry friend to their crew of five: a brand-new kitten. In a reel Gwen shared on her Instagram early last week, fans saw the newest member of the Shelton family, Corn Shelton, a gray and white kitten with blue eyes. The reel featured a montage of clips, like him being cuddled by Gwen and getting used to his new surroundings, with others of Blake filming and narrating as he walked around.

According to the caption, Corn was a stray that wondered onto their Oklahoma ranch, sick and injured. The family worked hard to nurse him back to health, and fans were thrilled to see the musical couple eagerly welcome the feline with open arms, helping him to recover and become strong.

“Welcome to the good life, Corn. You sure picked the right family!” someone wrote under the clip. “This makes my heart smile so big!!! 🌽 has found his forever home. God bless both of you,” another chimed in. “What a sweetie! ❤️ the cat distribution system picked you!! Thanks for rescuing him 😻,” a fan said. One person added, “Thank you for offering him a fur-ever home 😍❤️.”
