Travis Kelce gets called ‘illiterate’ and an ‘id**t’ by Joy Behar who discovered his ‘sexist’ tweets

It turns out that not everyone is enthused by Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce. In fact, despite the overwhelming fan frenzy caused by the two stars’ blossoming romance, it seems they also have plenty of detractors.  One person who hasn’t been impressed with their relationship is Joy Behar. Behar, who is one of the presenters on the show The View, had some strong words to say on Kelce during one of the program’s recent episodes.

During the program, Behar revealed that she had dug up some of the Chief’s star old tweets and was far from impressed by the views expressed in them by the NFL player.  “Here’s one of his tweets, ‘Damn, the Clippers girls gotta be the girls that don’t make the Lakers team ’cause they was all ugly,’” read the host during Thursday’s episode.

“Why can’t girls hide they back fat?” and “I feel like if you want to be a cheerleader, you have to pass a beauty test. There’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here,” were some of the other tweets she read out

Behar’s conclusion after reading the tweet aloud was that Travis was “illiterate”. She even called him an “idiot” and explained that she hopes Swift ends up leaving her new boyfriend.  Despite her accusations, some of the other hosts did defend the Chiefs tight end, pointing out that the tweets were from years ago when he was at college and thus he should be judged too harshly.
