Brittany Mahomes may be in the midst of drama in the public eye — but she’s concentrating more on the “disgusting” problem she’s currently dealing with at home.

The 29-year-old Kansas City Current co-owner — who is currently pregnant with her and husband Patrick Mahomes’ third child — has been taking to her Instagram Story to share footage of large black birds that seem to have taken over her family’s backyard.

While she first shared clips of the dozens of birds sitting on the high, cement walls around her yard on Wednesday, September 11 — including a video where fans could hear 3-year-old daughter Sterling calling the creepy creatures “disgusting!” in the background — Brittany gave an update on the bird situation the following day.

“When I tell y’all, they’re here every morning … it must just be the meetup spot. ‘Cause there’s nothing dead, they just like to hang out,” she said in the video, which featured her panning over the expansive yard — complete with an entire customized sports field. A dozen or so large birds once again sat up high on the cement walls, with some wandering the field.

“What are they, Sterling?” Brittany asked in a second clip.

“Disgusting!” Sterling replied emphatically as Brittany laughed.

The Mahomes family’s bird problem comes just as they are facing heat for Brittany’s alleged political beliefs. Over the past month, she has reportedly been “liking” social media content that is supportive of former President Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, Trump’s vice presidential pick in the 2024 presidential election. Mahomes’ supposed support of the controversial candidates has become a hot button issue due to her close friendship with Taylor Swift, who just endorsed Kamala Harris for president on Tuesday, September 10, immediately following Harris’ debate with Trump.

Patrick, for his part, shared his own political stance on Wednesday.

“I think I’ve always said I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever either way,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback told reporters, adding: “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote, is to inform people to do their own research and then make their best decision for them and their family.”

Trump, for his part, compared Swift and Brittany on Fox & Friends on Wednesday.

“[Swift is] a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” he stated. “But I like Brittany. Brittany is great. She’s the one I like much better than Taylor Swift. Wife of the great quarterback. I think she’s terrific.”
