Travis Kelce’s mom ducks questions about son’s rumored romance with Taylor Swift in ‘TODAY’ show interview

Mum’s the word for Travis Kelce‘s mom amid the flurry of attention surrounding her son’s rumored new romance with Taylor Swift.
During an interview Friday morning on “TODAY,” Donna Kelce remained tightlipped about the latest “it” couple.
When questioned by co-anchors Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie about the couple’s budding relationship, the NFL star’s mom said: “It’s fairly new, so I don’t like to talk about it.”
“It’s just one of those things where you know, obviously everybody saw me,” Donna said about spending time with the pop star during the Sept. 24 Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Chicago Bears. “I was in the boxes with her and it’s just another thing that’s amped up my life.”
Donna, a retired banking executive, is also mom to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. In February 2023, she made history at Super Bowl LVII as the first mom to ever have her sons compete against each other in an NFL championship game.
However, Donna’s been thrust into a new stratosphere of limelight after jumbotron clips of her with Swift broke the internet — seemingly confirming that her youngest son is indeed dating the “Shake It Off” singer.
Adding more fervor to the buzz, Swift showed up to New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium last Sunday — with friends Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively in tow — to watch Travis and the Chiefs face off against the New York Jets.
“Every week it’s like something new … It truly feels like I’m in some kind of an alternate universe,” Donna Kelce said. “It’s just really, really strange, but it’s fun. It’s a great ride.”
The matriarch also made it clear that she doesn’t prefer to discuss the personal affairs of her adult sons.
“I’ll talk about my life and when the kids were little and I was with them, but they’re men now,” she said. “They’ve got their own lives and there isn’t a man alive that’s going to talk to their mom about their personal life. It’s just not gonna happen.”
