Gwen Stefani enjoyed a ‘winning streak’ and took to the stage for an impromptu performance with a contestant on Monday’s episode of The Voice on NBC.
The 54-year-old pop superstar scored three singers for her team, including a four-chair turn, as the Blind Auditions continued with Gwen, Reba McEntire and new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.
The two-hour episode received a jolt of rock energy when Crystalla Gonzalez, 34, of Queens, New York, delivered a strong rendition of Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar.
None of the coaches turned their red chairs, but Gwen encouraged her to keep trying.
‘You are so, like, close. Like, don’t stop. People come back here all the time. We started No Doubt when I was 17. I got on the radio when I was 26. Nine years in the garage,’ Gwen said.

‘You’re one of the reasons why I started a rock band to begin with,’ Crystalla said.
‘Wow, I can’t believe she didn’t turn around,’ Michael teased.
‘Oh, my God. No! What about if we sing Just A Girl together?,’ Gwen said.
‘Are you serious?,’ Crystalla said.
Gwen hit the stage and hugged Crystalla and started singing the song with Crystalla joining her. They held hands while singing and both raised their arms in unison along with the lyrics.
Michael praised Gwen for being an ‘amazing person’ and turning a ‘no’ into the ‘biggest ”Yes” of the day.’
‘There’s no way she didn’t walk out feeling like a complete winner,’ Michael said.
Reba told Gwen that she was ‘on fire’ and Michael agreed.

Gwen also scored Felsmere, 33, of Vero Beach, Florida, who was a returning contestant after competing on season one of the The Voice.
Felsmere belted out Some Kind Of Wonderful and Michael also turned his chair for her, but she went with Gwen.
Gwen also squared off against Michael for country singer Rowdy Shea, 23, of Bowling Green, Kentucky. The newlywed contestant let his wife decide and she picked Gwen to be his coach.
The last singer of the episode was Austyns Stancil, 34, of Oakland, California, who delivered a smooth and powerful rendition of Ooo Baby Baby and got all four judges to turn their chairs.
Snoop Dogg praised his range, saying, ‘I see how you went falsetto on us one time. You know what I’m saying? I can dig that.’

Gwen, who returned for her eighth season as coach after a one-year hiatus, also made a strong pitch for Austyns after putting on her ‘fighting gloves’.
‘You’re so good in each part of your voice. That made me turn. It’s technically great, but how do we find who you are? And I think that’s something that I could help you with if you were on Team Gwen,’ she said.
Gwen stood up and asked Austyns why he would choose either of the ‘newbies’ Michael or Snoop when he could have her experience.
‘To win on a four-chair turn is another level. I’m on fire. I’m kind of on a winning streak, I think,’ Gwen said.
Gwen went up and hugged Austyns and admitted getting him was a ‘shock’
Long Beach, California native Snoop praised his ‘California homegirl’ Gwen for being a ‘constant professional’ after she nabbed Austyns, but warned there was something ‘no one understands’.
‘There’s a day where your artist won’t be happy. And then that’s when I’ll steal,’ Snoop said with a laugh.

The episode opened with Dreion, 27, of Omaha, Nebraska, performing Shining Star and getting all four chairs to turn. Dreion chose Snoop to be his coach.
‘That was like a Super Bowl win for me. I’m, like, the rookie. So, for a rookie to put up 50 points, 25 rebounds, 13 assists. Hey, that’s what I do,’ Snoop Dogg said.
Mor Ilderton, 20, of Teays Valley, West Virginia, sang Whitehouse Road and got Reba and Michael to turn. Michael, however, blocked Reba and landed Mor for his team.
Kamile Kiehne, 17, of Los Lunas, New Mexico, took on Black Velvet and got Snoop, Reba and Michael to swivel their red chairs. Kamile decided to join Team Michael.
The trio 323 from Tallahassee, Florida, impressed Reba and Michael who both turned their chairs. They picked Reba to be their coach.
Gail Bliss, 61, of Little River, South Carolina, sang If It Hadn’t Been For Love, but none of the coaches turned their chairs. Snoop Dogg, however, used his Coach’s Replay to add Gail to his team.

Snoop said the spirit of his mother was in him and revealed that his mother’s sister’s name was Gail.
The rapper added that she was one of his ‘favorite aunties’ before hitting his Coach’s Replay button for the singer.
Gail hugged and kissed Snoop as he came onto the stage and she cried tears of joy as he put his team necklace around her.
The Voice will return next Monday on NBC.
