Jesse Watters is no stranger to overstepping the mark on Fox News, but viewers think he went too far during a debate over Luigi Mangione’s “sex appeal”.
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five hashed it out over a very important question during Wednesday’s show: Is Luigi Mangione hot or not?
And it wouldn’t be a The Five debate without Jesse Watters dropping a few controversial remarks here and there.
The discussion came in the light of the Monday arrest of Mangione, who allegedly gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week in New York City.
Host Jesse kicked off the debate by admitting that he didn’t find the 26-year-old Ivy League student attractive, a sentiment that Dana Perino echoed.
“His eyebrows are horrible,” she added.

Jesse wasn’t finished there, he continued by describing his methodology for determining the alleged gunman’s relative sex appeal.
“I took a poll of my staff of females today and they said he was average,” he revealed.
“But what’s attractive about him,” he asked, adding: “is the vigilantism, and Jeanine [Pirro] touched on it, I touched on it: women like the ‘bad boy.’”
Jesse went on: “Now, I don’t know anything about women, so I had to call a few women to find out why, but they want to save the bad guy… But if you see damaged goods, women think that they can reform him and they can make him better, and if only they could get their hands on him he’ll be all right.”
Clearly disagreeing with Jesse’s point, Jeanine blasted: “I am definitely not like that. I want nothing to do with that.”
After a bit of back and forth between the panel, Jeanine fired: “I’m not sure you know what you’re talking about,” to which Jesse brazenly clapped back: “I know more about women than everybody at this table,” completely contradicting his earlier claim about his female knowledge.

The cheeky remark not only rattled the panel but also sparked an onslaught from social media viewers.
Taking to X, viewer @ArtCandee wrote: “Jesse Watters makes my skin crawl,” as @LakeGeorgeBob shared: “I only see Watters in his clips here [X]. But he always gives off insecurity, misogynistic and creepy vibes in the clips I watch.”
A third viewer, @StupidTrumps, brutally chimed in: “He might know more about hair dye, but that’s about it,” as @zedsamcat agreed with the political commentator’s claim: “We know Watters, we know.”
While user @JeffCrowder16 joked: “Probably because he sees one every time that he looks in the mirror.”
Not everyone was up in arms over Jesse’s comment, viewer @FreshPeachLife pointed out: “Laughs as he says it. It was an obvious sarcastic joke. Leftists have no humor.”
