Patrick Mahomes gave Chiefs fans and Taylor Swift a huge scare on Monday Night Football.

The scare popped up early in the fourth quarter, with the Chiefs facing a third and goal. The dynamic Chiefs QB flipped the ball over to Perine in the end zone just before the quarterback crossed the line of scrimmage.

It was an exciting moment that turned somber when Mahomes started hobbling after getting rid of the ball.

Footage from a fan inside Arrowhead Stadium got the reaction of Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, who were seated in the same suite.

Swift and Mahomes could be seen hugging and cheering with each other and others around them before they realized Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was down with an injury.

 

The Chiefs started celebrating the play that tied the score at 17 after the extra point, but quickly turned their attention to Mahomes.

Mahomes appeared to suffer a non-contact injury before turning over to sit and grabbing at his ankle.

He had to be helped off the field by team trainers, which caused immediate concern among Chiefs Kingdom, Swift, and Brittany.

Mahomes eventually started walking under his own power, got evaluated in the medical tent, and jogged on the sideline, sending Arrowhead Stadium into a frenzy.

We can only suspect that Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes went crazy as well.

Taylor Swift made her much-anticipated return to Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, and she came dressed to impress.

Swift showed up rocking a Chiefs jacket with a black top, belted high-waist jean shorts, a Chanel necklace, and knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.

It was easily one of her better looks of the year.
