Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James posted a quick message of encouragement to his youngest son Bryce as a highlights reel of the 15-year-old emerged.
‘Keep going Young!!! Maximus on the rise. #JamesGang’, James said with emojis of a boy wearing a crown and then a separate crown after.
The video showed 15-year-old Bryce putting on a show while playing for Team SFG in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
This is just the latest moment the NBA great has shown he’s a proud dad. He’s often praised his eldest son Bronny, who recently committed to playing basketball at the University of Southern California next season.
Bryce himself is a rising junior and is expected to be a highly-valued recruit in the class of 2025. He has already reportedly received a scholarship offer from Duquesne University which has ties to the James family.

Not only did Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot coach LeBron for his first two seasons at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, but assistant coach Dru Joyce III was a teammate of LeBron’s as well.
Aside from taking time to support his son, LeBron is preparing for the start of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
LA made it past the Golden State Warriors in the Eastern Conference semifinals after blowing up their roster just before the NBA trade deadline.
Their impressive playoff run comes after an absolutely abysmal start to the season that left countless fans wondering why the media paid so much attention to a dreadful team.
The first game of the series will take place on Tuesday in Denver, as MVP candidate Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets look to continue riding the wave of momentum that saw them record a 25-point win and eliminate the Phoenix Suns from the postseason.
This season’s Eastern and Western Conference Finals are rematches from the NBA Bubble three years ago in 2020 with the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat facing off in the East with the Lakers vs. the Nuggets in the West.
